The colours of home HEARTLAND is inspired by the colours of Australia after a trip to Larapinta in Alice Springs, home of the Arrernte people. A place of time and beauty, where the Caterpillar Dreaming form part of the MacDonnell Ranges and sit high in the landscape in colours of rich browns against the backdrop of reds and ochres of desert sand and blue sky.  The land once held an inland sea and high on the mountain range parts of the ancient sea bed are still visible and vegetation now clings to rocky outposts where sunsets of vibrant pinks and orange give way to starlit nights.
